Nidhal Firoze is the associate manager of digital analytics and business intelligence at Course5 Intelligence. Apart from being the associate manager, Nidhal is also a DAA Certified Web Analyst and a Google Certified Digital Consultant.
Nidhal is a self-driven, proactive collaborator and a team player, who has always been interested in creating profitable situations by harnessing the potential of networking within and across teams as well as inside and outside the organisation. Along with that, he is a passionate speaker, trainer and a mentor, who has trained 2000+ students from 20+ educational institutions during his prior experience as an aptitude trainer.
Nidhal always had an interest in numbers and therefore has served in the analytics industry since the past three years. He has worked with clients across industry verticals including retail, technology, B2B and e-commerce. At Course5 Intelligence, Nidhal collaborates with a multinational direct sales company based out of Florida, USA, and works with Google Analytics reporting to drive value for business. Besides, he defines agile intake processes and governs analytics deliverables. Prior to Course5 Intelligence, Nidhal has also worked with the Digital Analytics Association, Analytics India Magazine, Boston Institute of Analytics, and LetsUpgrade, to name a few.
Additionally, Nidhal is a specialised practitioner in visualisation and analytics tools including Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics. Nidhal has also been speaking at analytics seminars, webinars, online events and institutions/organisations.
Nitin Agarwal, Data Scientists, A.P. Moller – Maersk
Nitin Agarwal is a data scientist at A.P. Moller – Maersk, with eight years of experience in total. Nitin has extensively worked on data mining, predictive modelling, business intelligence and managed databases with domain experience in banking and finance, along with life sciences. Nitin also has a passion for turning raw data into creative analytics solutions that can help executives and businesses make informed and strategic decisions.
Nitin is a post-graduate in business analytics from IIIT Bangalore and has earned a credential of readiness from Harvard Business School for covering financial accounting, business analytics, and economics for managers. He also contributes as a mentor for various organisations, and before A.P. Moller – Maersk, Nitin has worked for companies like Mavenir, IQVIA etc.
Some of Nitin’s key strengths are in the areas of exploratory data analysis, descriptive analysis, inferential analysis, hypothesis testing, text mining, data mining, predictive modelling, and technologies like PYSPARK, Cassandra, H2O. Along with that, Nitin is also experienced in data visualisation using Tableau, statistical modelling using Python, R and Excel, and data extraction using SQL and Alteryx.
Shirish Gupta, Head of Data Science & Partnerships, NBFC Loan2Grow
Shirish Gupta is currently the head of data science and partnerships at NBFC Loan2Grow. Shirish has worked across multiple domains in the financial & non-financial service industry, and specialises in creating predictive models, machine learning algorithms for insurance, retail and FMCG industry. Previously, Shirish was employed as a data scientist with Deloitte, where he worked for a number of retail, insurance, banking, and pharmaceutical domains in the US, India and South Korea.
Along with that, Shirish has seven years of experience in leading and managing the design, development, and implementation of all aspects of qualitative and quantitative methods, advanced predictive analytics, risk measurement, and management of intelligent interim solutions in order to support business needs and regulatory requirements across different domains. He has been known to extensively use SAS (Base & EG), R, Excel VBA, Tableau.
Shirish also has considerable experience in computer vision, customer segmentation, demand forecasting, store clustering, risk scoring, policy and claims underwriting, drug launch, support analytics, and lifestyle-based predictive models. He also has experience working and deploying machine learning models on the cloud using AWS EC2, Lambda, S3 and Lex.
Sibanjan Das, Data Scientist, ServiceNow
Sibanjan Das is a data scientist at ServiceNow and has close to ten years of experience in the field. His experience includes more than six years of experience as a data scientist and three years of experience as a business systems analyst for Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes.
Sibanjan holds a master of IT degree with a major in business analytics from Singapore Management University, Singapore. Along with that, he also holds a bachelor of technology in computer science and an engineering degree from the Institute of Technical Education & Research, India.
Sibanjan holds several industry certifications such as OCA (Oracle Certified Associate), OCP (Oracle Certified Professional in Advanced SQL and PLSQL), ITIL V3, and CSCMS (Certified Supply chain Management Specialist). Prior to ServiceNow, he has worked with companies like Zensar Technologies, NCS Group, and IBM.
His work experience includes building AI products at Oracle, such as adaptive intelligent apps for the manufacturing industry and working as data science and advanced analytics consultant at Zensar Technologies. He also works on developing advanced analytics products and implementing predictive analytics and business insights solutions for companies. Sibanjan has the right mix of knowledge on business processes, machine learning and software engineering, and has been awarded the prestigious 40Under40 Data Scientists award by Analytics India Magazine. He is also passionate about exploring new techniques to provide effective and efficient solutions for business improvements.
Sreeramana Mavilla, Senior Software Engineer, Intel
Sreeramana Mavilla is a software engineer, currently working with Intel. He has five years of experience in DevOps, analytics and machine learning domain. Sreeramana is a software professional with extensive knowledge in system design architecture, and has strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design. Besides, he has experience in dealing with highly scalable and distributed systems.
Sreeramana holds various AWS certifications, and his areas of interests also include natural language processing, reinforcement learning, statistical analysis, time series forecasting, and deep learning. With extensive working experience in machine learning system design, ML pipeline architecture, model training, evaluations and deployments, Sree has gained a natural inclination towards problem-solving.
Additionally, he has expertise and knowledge in modern engineering practices, proficiency with Docker, and experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms like AWS. Apart from that, some of his key interests are text understanding, classification, and pattern recognition. With a strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, differentiation, integration and statistics, Sreeramana also has worked with computer vision and deep learning, Neural Networks.
